Announcements
- The Philadelphia City Planning Commission will hold its first of three public meetings for the Lower Northwest District Plan (East Falls, Manayunk, Roxborough) on April 15th, 7:30 PM at William Penn Charter School, 3000 School House Lane.
Philadelphia is conducting district plans for the entire city. These plans will make recommendations for zoning changes, how city-owned land and facilities will be developed and for public investment in each district.
- CRCA will be participating in the Philly Spring Clean Up this Saturday, April 5th, 9 a.m. Meet at 174 Shurs Lane (Shurs and Terrace) aka Edling Park. Volunteers welcome.
- Thank you to John Boyce for a sizable donation to CRCA.
- CRCA sent a letter of non-opposition to the legalization of the storage building to apartments at 442 Connaroe St.
- CRCA sent a letter of support for the proposed development at 539 ½ Hermitage St. of four homes with access from Leverington Avenue.
- Summer Jobs available at the Mann Music Center in Catering and Parking Lots.
- May 3rd is Love Your Park Day at Gorgas Park, 10 am. Music and refreshments will be provided.
- 365 Green Lane Demo permit hearing was postponed until May. The owner did not show up at the scheduled April 2nd ZBA hearing and nothing has been posted.

This is the area from Subway to East River Bank which includes parking lot behind the stores and World Wide Beverage on Green Lane.
The owner wishes to subdivide the property so that the building housing World Wide beverage can be sold along with the business. Currently it is leased. The current owner
of the entire property as zoned, is Ralph Spasato.

An attendee asked whether the subdivision would affect the amount of money paid into the BID (Building Improvement District).

John Szollose wants to renovate a storage garage which has access from Clearview St. There are currently 10 units and the proposal is for 4 units.
The property is used for auto equipment storage. They need a variance for a storage unit. The property is zoned CMX-2.
